feh IPv6 is still too useless in my book for anything other then a "toy", or something to play with when you have no real work/things to do. then again, i have been in this conversation close to a million times, and every single time it ends with someone saying "just you wait, someday....IPv6 is gon...

i suppose a point was made. the msg could be a touch more specific that the channel was juped. i mean, warez kiddies have no idea what most irc messages mean, since they are not all that clear!

you know...you could just have 2 seperate windows...and shape them to do excatly what you want...ALA server notices on top, chatting on the bottom.

mirc has the ability to look any way you want it, just requires some creativity.

there are a number of reasons. some people like the screen ability...because i guess they switch between machines alot. some people dont run windows at all..(suckers :P) others are just fanatics that believe a console client is better. mostly for the same reasons they think windows is bad (SCREW M$#...

Some opers are lame, so yes of course attacks are caused by them... On the same note, a lot of users are lame, so yes of course attacks are caused by them... Works both ways... -tiz on the other side of the coin... irc is not a kiddies playground. taking channels, nicks, * from others gets the prob...

personally, I am not worried about keeping both hands on the keyboard. i only need to do that if i am constantly typing. it takes one second to switch windows with a mouse, and generally, i am switching between 5-10 windows at a time. I will not debate that a keyboard shortcut is faster at switching...
