Started with Commodore 64 and Qlink, progressed into building my own 8088xt then started a Telegard BBS. The Great AbysS Northern California Telegard Beta center. Later tried my hand at TBBS true multi-line BBS (Still have the 5-/14 floppies). Found EFnet in 1992 and called it home.

Best to get a VPN or shell account and install a bouncer on it (ZNC, BNC, etc). This is what many people have done to cover their true IP for years on EFnet.
