You might've been caught in a crossfire,and probably because you had auto-join on invite enabled. Try connecting to a few different EFNet servers until you can find one you can connect to. http://www.efnet.org/?module=servers. Once you are connected, try /stats p server.you.were.klined.from, and ask...

Are you sure that you did this on EFNet? The IRC network this website is mostly for EFNet and the network itself does not have a nickname or channel registration service. There's no "Q" here for username registration.

you could kill an entire network with a "click" then there are the exploits besides that i find text-based clients still much more usefull for a good overview if you are on a lot of servers/channels but thats just me. i also have the nasty habbit when it comes to take new opers to select only users...
