yeah i have read those docs and it does not state that stuff inside the docs itself but it seems that it is pretty much needed, so i was looking for the official efnet stance on it.

well you were saying that /msg services host <info> was a command everyone was using and i simply stated it depends on services and i know efnet does not have operserv.

just out of curiosity, do you want server admins to have root on the that an efnet irc server runs from? also do they need to be an isp and what type of FD limit do these boxes have? if a server can support 9000 clients that must be an insane fd limit.

depends on the services really. for example on hybserv2 its /msg operserv trace *info* and operserv is services administrators only.

one of the things i wanna do is try to understand how hybrid 7 does remote klines, but i see that m_kline.c has dissapeared. what source file for handling klines is used for the hybrid 7?

well i do believe in god (kinda...) but i dont believe in religeon....it causes huge problems. i live in a muslim country so i do see a lot of different views of religeons and such...that is also probably what led me to be anti-religeon

if you mean by l and q channel/nick services etc...forget it. efnet's own policy is not to use those.....they have their reasons and they are valid. they do have something similiar called chanfix so you might wanna google for that.

i have read that document. they give you a workaround. i want an actual patch for 6.03. a workaround isnt a patch....
