its actually a services package. we dont really have any plans for it to accept client connections as of now. accepting clients is best done to the ircds it seems.

i must say i love your shoes damien....you look so nice in em :wink:

would it be possible to make aurora communicate with other services? for example sentinel's SERVICES which tells tcm/oomon bots information? the more interaction between services the tighter our network will be.

well jeremy has created a spoofing patch for ratbox, which he implements in his own ircd (freeworld ircd). its available at http://ircd.botbay.net/pub/ratbox/3-Feature/jeremy/. thanks a bunch jeremy :D this implements user spoofing in the forum of blah@<netname>-<number>.isp.com or for non resolving...

yeah i've done that. i will try to core it again and give you a full gdb backtrace of the core. or would you like me to run ratbox through gdb and then try to core it?

then go onto differnet servers. that may help unless the tcm bots start communicating and get you multiple klined/glined.

*@*.fr is by far the worst. SO many insecure machines on that ISP and the ISP does absolutly jack about it. I run four other small nets and chat on EF and on those small nets ive had to ban the whole (for example) noos.fr ISP. Thousands, and i do mean thousands of GT bots just join and idle, killin...

i do want it to connect locally on port 7000. i am connecting the servers on the same box. a friend and i did this before with a hybrid 6.3.1 and a hybrid 7rc10 server before
