Registering a channel

Hi,

I'm actually building up a homepage for a community. Therefore I want to use a chat. I decided to use IRC. As a client I use a java applet. But how can i register a channel only for my community?

You may not want to use EFNet if you want to register your channel. We have no channel registration services here.

However, we do have chanfix to prevent takeovers. If you run a quiet channel, you likely won't have a problem anyway.
