G-lined on a shared IP by hundreds of users

Postby danknugz » Thu Apr 12, 2007 4:38 pm

Hi the WAN guys have irc ports disabled but I am still able to establish a connection via ircatwork.com, however when I connect I always get a g-line for "flooding" but it sucks cause this is a caching proxy point and has nothing to do with me, how can I get the g-line removed?

G-lines expire in 24 hours, normally.

However, the fact that you're using a common connection, and the fact that G-lines target machines and not specific users, doesn't bode well for you.
