chat.efnet.org: *** Access Denied: Too many connections

Postby cubert » Mon Jul 23, 2007 7:16 pm

I'm trying to log into chat.efnet.org and I get the access denied message listed above. It started last Friday and has continued through today. Is anyone else seeing this?

chat.efnet.org only allows 1 connection per IP address.

are you behind some sort of NAT firewall?

Yes, I'm behind a Microsoft ISA firewall. I wonder what happened that this suddenly became a problem. As far as I know there isn't anyone else here who uses IRC. I'm not the firewall admin so I can't check the connection list.

if it's a static IP for a business or ISP that is used for a firewall for multiple users, i can increase the connection limit for that IP.

contact me directly (on irc or PM on the forum) if this is the case to give me your IP address
