Banned (drones/flooding) ??

A few hours ago I went out to run some errands and get dinner; when I came back I was disconnected.

When I tried to reconnect I got a message that I was apparently banned

I'm not really sure what that means? I don't have any bots and I don't flood or anything.

What was odd was when I came back I was in two odd channels I've never been in

Is there any way to rectify the situation? It is a bit important I get back on relatively soon

You might've been caught in a crossfire,and probably because you had auto-join on invite enabled. Try connecting to a few different EFNet servers until you can find one you can connect to. http://www.efnet.org/?module=servers.

Once you are connected, try /stats p server.you.were.klined.from, and ask an oper nicely to remove the kline.
