There might be some sort of script running that detects any kind of http messages to the channel within a certain amount of time after joining the channel. Also, the person running that script may be an oper or know an oper that had the gline placed.. That is a pretty unfair gline in my opinion though... posting a URL about an Alternative rock band in #altrock With that being said..next time.. don't "spam" so soon..
