Issues with irc.efnet.org and irc.efnet.info round robins

I was trying to connect to EFnet using the irc.efnet.org and irc.efnet.info round robins after rebooting my computer and I was getting the error "Unable to resolve server". I couldn't even ping irc.efnet.org or irc.efnet.info.

I had a chat to the support people from my ISP (Internode - an Australian ISP) and changed DNS servers from Internode's DNS to OpenDNS. Now I'm getting timeouts when I try to connect through those round robins.

Does anyone know what's going on?
