How do I serve in different EFnet Channels?

Postby T-Scar » Sun May 09, 2004 11:53 pm

i'm a newbie, i know it's probably a really basic question, but i'm doing internet promotion for a Chicago Hip-hop group and they want to spread the music by all means, so I'm trying to get up on serving in IRC...anyone help me out?

This really isn't the place to ask. You have to ask the ops of the channel.

you can connect to efnet from here: http://chat.efnet.info/
or get a client like mirc, which you will find listed here: http://www.efnet.info/?module=software
theres a list of channels listed here: http://www.efnet.info/?module=channels

you just have to idle in channels you're interested in and be patient and see who's talking and ask them how to do whatever it is you're trying to do.
