We have this channel where some people from school comes together to talk. Nearly a month ago, we lost op. Chanfix would not op any of our old ops even though me met all "demands". All ops were away, so we couldn't contact IRC-ops. 4 days later, an op came back and contacted an IRC-op. The IRC-op told us that chanfix didn't have any point on any of the former ops of the channel. Since chanfix wouldn't fix the channel, and IRC-ops aren't allowed to op people, we decided to try to cycle the channel. This is much harder than it seems. Some users refuse to part channel until everyone else has, and then cycle, so that they get op.
Is there anything we can do? Off course we can kick some asses at school, but I am looking for a more friendly solution.
