D-Line... WhY?

Postby deathstar » Tue Jun 08, 2004 3:02 pm

After a nice rest, this morning I've found my self D-Lined... Why?
I was using efnet.vuurwerk.nl and I've no idea about the reason of the D-Line. Who may I contact for having an explanation about this trouble?

Greetings,

be sure to provide as much information as possible, such as your ip/hostname, what time you may have been banned, etc.

Hello,

Can you paste the error messages you get when you try to connect?

Also, on efnet, there is no 'akill.' I say this only because I wish to insure you are seeing these error messages on efnet and not another network.

Unfortunately I didn't saved the kill messages... however, I'm sure that I was on EFNet, although I didn't remember if the message included the exat word "AKilled" or just "Killed".

I wish I will not see again the kill messages, but If this will happen again, I'll log them immediately.

Greets :\

Update: the only logged message I've found...

Its not your fault if you have a dynamic IP address. ;) I had that problem a while back. If someone else using that address was running a proxy it got added to a database of open proxies. The address will get removed from the database eventually. If you look on the site there is a way to request a re-test if I recall correctly.
