Ok. I have read everything, all of the other 500 posts that relate to the errors I am getting. I have tried all the solutions recommended here, I have contacted my ISP, reconnected, messed with my router, and still nothing. Here is what happens (it goes on indefininitely but I stopped it). The following is the thing that happens, I copy and pasted. I believe that the K-Line is due to me reconnecting too fast or something, but I do not really understand the way stuff works. I have gone to the sites given to me on the errors, and they either do nto help me or tell me nothing is wrong. And sort of assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It says my Identd can not be found, but it used to. This all started happening today, and I cannot determine the cause. I have enabled it and disabled the nonexistent firewall, messed with the router advanced porting stuff, everything.

First off you might want to try the servers list on http://www.efnet.org/?module=servers, instead of using the round robin servers. Some servers like irc.mindspring.com, are opened only to Earthlink/Mindspring customers. Secondly, you might want to go to the webpages that you were refered to on the kline messages. What the page is, is a lookup page for known IP addresses that were, at one point in time, used for something like spamming, or was detected to have opened ports which were exploitable. Since you appear to be using a DSL service that passes out a dynamic address (one that always changes), there's a very good chance at least one person who has had your IP address before you, had been known to be a spammer or had been found to be vulnerable. Refering to the webpage, you can try to submit in a request to remove by clicking on the "Remove" links. For the ident issue, it seems that you might be using a router or a firewall which blocks requests to "identd" requests. The port identd listens on is port 113 and you need to either allow incoming connections and/or port forward the requests to your computer which will be connecting to IRC the most often.

If you read the kline message, and followed the link, you would see that you (or someone that had your IP before you) are listed in DSBL (http://dsbl.org/listing?209.30.163.185) as an open socks 4 proxy.
If you are running a proxy server, check the documentation on how to secure it. If you are not, you can either request removal from the blacklist (see http://dsbl.org for more information) or you can get a new dhcp lease to change IPs.
