Invisible, no.
Free, most likely not
On EFNet, normal users must use a hostname/IP that really exists. Though, there are many shell companies where you can purchase an account on their machines. Their machines have many, many IPs connected to them, and they have control over the reverse dns of those IPs. You can then use their machines as a proxy between you and the IRC server, so their IPs show up on EFNet instead of yours. However, the IP that shows up for you on EFNet must be a real IP.

Only way to make your real ip is hidden is buy a shell account and use psybnc
or proxy server with diff port and with login and password.

Most users use shell accounts and use cool vhosts on efnet.

Disagree with two statements. Most users do not use shell accounts. Also, the vhosts aren't "cool" for the most part, they're idiotic.

But, what do I know. My host is spoofed. :D
