Should it still be possible to nethack into a channel?
We've got a +k channel that a botnet joins every time a split ends. One slides in and I assume sends the key to all the rest.

Two possibilities that I can think of:

1) The channel is desynched.
2) Someone's giving out the key.

Unfortunately, the solution to 1 may be to cycle the channel.

YOu can still split your way into +i/k/l/b channels unless the server is compiled with NO_CREATE_ON_SPLIT. Why everyone doesn't do this is beyond me.

opers can also (in most cases, at least) get around the no_create_on_split, but they will not keep ops through the netjoin. though i've never heard of a case of this being abused to join a +ik channel.
