The sponsor of irc.mpls.ca, tera-byte.com has decided it no longer wants to support the EFnet server on their network. The plan was that the mpls adminsshould have two weeks to find another sponsor for it, but attacks earlier today made them turn it before time.

If you happend to have some bandwith to spare in canada, feel free to contact the mpls admins so perhaps you can work something out. The minimum requirements are two underutilized OC3s.

irc.mpls.ca was a stable asset to EFnet and held an average of 5000 clients.
