I used efnet because I had friends there, and now I have even more, isn't there ANY way to find out who the bot belongs to so I can speak to the guy?

If it's on a public channel, just join and ask. If not, then, unfortunately, no, although you can try msging the bot. What you can do is set up a screened or detached client, /notify the nick, and do /on notify_signoff nick /nick nick. Different clients have different ways of doing it (I use EPIC, so that's the command I have). What that will do is give you the nick when the client with it signs off.

Well, I'm not entirely shure that it IS a bot, it sits in a public chan all by itself, I have pm'd him but no reply yet.
I've got scripts that WILL reclaim the nick if he logs off or changes it...
