G:line

Postby sta0g » Tue Apr 28, 2009 6:00 pm

I was g-lined for posting a link in #fw

my hostname is whois.deeznutz.nu
Banned spam (2009/4/28 16.42)

I was wondering for how long the g-line was and if it was possible to get it lifted.

I am truly sorry and it won't happen again.

Thanks,

G:lines generally expire in 24-48 hours.

It's not typical that someone gets glined without actually being a spammer. If an active oper witnesses the event they may issue a gline (unlikely without being a mass flood) or they will kline the host (likely). If it was a gline it was probably somebody else using that vhost or for another reason.
