How do I get un-banned?

Trying to figure out my new IRC client I apparently listed the channels (/list) too many times and got automatically banned. This is ridiculous - total overkill.... a warning, or just limiting me to listing channels X times per hour would have sufficed.

So is this ban permanent? How do I get un-banned?

You're biting use of sarcasm is underscored by your inattention to the "Read This" forum.

7) If you have a question about a specific server's policies, you can ask here. However, the best thing to do would be to /motd server.name. If the information you need is not there, /admin server.name and write to the admins. If you're questioning a K:line or D:line, we will likely not be able to help you.

So, in short, try a different server.
