Re: irc.efnet.nl ?
In what way is irc.efnet.nl a non-free server ? Last i checked it was completly open for everyone on ipv4 and also allowed ipv6 connections from some providers.WoC wrote:Home come that irc.efnet.nl is allowed on EFNet, being a non-free server?
They dont charge users for jusing their service nor does their opers get payd for the work they do.

We do not allow DNS spam (see http://www.dnsspam.nl) as it wastes valuable IP space in the purpuit of l33t vh0stz. This covers almost every shell provider be it free or not.
We currently hold almost 7 thousand users, and our record is well over 10 thousand, so apparently you're one of the few who seems to be having an issue with this.
We do not require you, or ask you to buy anything, we simply ask you too follow the rules we have set in place, which include no DNS spam/vanity hosts.
If this is a problem for you you are more than welcome to click the "Servers" link and find one of the other 50 or so servers to use.

I have checked all the hosts you listed, and the respective addresses they resolve to against our ilines and klines to the best of my ability. None of the hosts/addresses are banned from efnet.nl, and all of them fit into our ilines to allow you on. My only guess if that if you can't connect you don't have routes. If you could post the error message that you are receiving it would help.
