Who is going back to school?

Postby feer » Thu Aug 14, 2003 7:36 pm

Well, I am .. and this year I am actaully looking forward to it. It must be due to the lack of anything to do this whole summer!

Yay! 4th year of university .. more long nights in the lab coding up useless assignments and smelling BO from everyone.

The joys of a CS degree.

cygwin+XFree86+ssh+xhost etc etc == no stinky CS students to put up with

that is assuming your department is a decent CS department and doesn't do all Win32

Yes but when they force you to do group work it becomes nessecary to use the labs from time to time.

I'm not in there alot .. thank god I have a laptop with a wireless connection, but I still feel the pain for those who have to use the labs on a regular baises.

what pisses me off are users that 'lock' lab computers so they can downloading fucking gay kidney stones from kazaa at 10kb/s

i dunno if it`s just our *special* lab, but if you click unlock, set the password as "password" and the domain to Windows, it should unlock it.

also, msn auto startup *with password saved*
i`m sorry, but if you are that stupid, the next time you check your e-mail, don`t be surprised the language is no longer English

There is a much easier solution to the problem of locked computers. *RESET* .. :D

That fixes everything.
